Note
The UK has had the hottest summer since 1976 apparently, and we’ve
basked in glorious sunshine, which has been fantastic, finally getting out in
the garden, rubbing suntan lotion onto a weevil’s noggin, and sitting with a
notebook and pen under a large umbrella with a very tall glass of fizzy pop and
ice cubes.
In July I sent Joshua out for a bottle of milk and he didn’t return
until last week, needless to say – without the bottle of milk, but people had
posted up their sightings of him from Warwickshire down to Basildon Essex.
We learnt on 30th July that there isn’t to be another series
of Frankie, so an iPetition is circulating Twitter and our FB Page, be sure to
sign it. Although we all hope that the decision is changed, I’m sure Lucy
Gannon will write another fantastic drama featuring our wonderful Eve Myles in
that we’ll make darn sure pushes the viewing figures above the recommended!!!
We welcome a new writer to our team.
Echo Fain already writes for us, producing fantastic fictional pieces
such as ‘Faith in a Higher Power’,
‘Terminus’, and this month wows us with ‘Tango
of the Exiles’ a three parter which will span over the next three Issues.
So welcome aboard the good ship #ProjectTorchwood!
Finally, I want to thank everybody who has contributed to our blogzine
this month, to the writers on the team who have worked tirelessly, through
sleepless nights and hayfever, through long hours at the computer/laptop/tablet
when their brains are fudge. To the
actors, writers, novelists, costume designers, to the fans for their love of
Ianto Jones, and to those who love to spin a yarn and share with the world.
